It stopped turning on with any remote or with the front button. I checked some message boards online and found hundreds of complaints about this same issue. One solution was to unplug the TV and re-plug it in, then it would work. This worked for a few week, now we just have a dead TV that can not be powered on.I called the company service line, got the Funai service deck. He told me they don't support this TV and sent me to a Mangavox number. The do not offer live support for TV's, have to use the website. I would not purchase anything with this brand name. Faulty equipment and no support. Image is really good and the unit is ightweight and manageable to handle. Having the built in DVD player is an added bonus. Plays CDs, DVDs smoothly. Picture quality (I use the component connection from my cable box) is fine.Negatives? (1) Speaker quality is a bit thin. OK for TV shows, but when listening to music CDs I use supplemental speakers. (2) There is no direct input for using as a computer monitor, if you want to play for example YouTube clips. If your computer has an HDMI output, then you can use that to connect to the monitor's HDMI input, but otherwise you're out of luck. |
