The audio on CD and DVD is barely perceptible (probably a pre-amp problem), and the picture randomly cuts in and out. Beware going past the 30 day return policy for Amazon as Coby will charge you $25 by MONEY ORDER for them to fix or replace the unit, that is, after YOU have paid return shipping. Never again. Before my own pros & cons, let me address a couple of issues that show up in a lot of the other reviews. I paid $149.95 in early February 2011 (at current price of $175 I'd still have bought it, as it is still cheaper for what it does than the competition).=>First, the audio is just fine. It is plenty loud enough for me, used in my 250 square foot bedroom. Not much bass response, but loud and clear, I find. I recently hooked the TV up to a modest bookshelf stereo to enjoy some of the music channels on my cable system, but it is not necessary for regular TV shows and movies (though of course a hookup like this will almost always improve sound no matter the TV). Right out of the box we were very pleased with the performance including the sound quality which we had heard was less than adequate. The sound quality is perfect. The remote stopped working on day 2 but we contacted Coby USA direct and they agreed to send us a new remote. We will give an update as to the resolution of this matter. Other than the remote we are happy customers.Added April 5th, 2011. We are no longer happy with our purchase. We have waited one month now for a remote that works. I have contacted Coby directly three times, emailed customer service once, and faxed our proof of purchase to them twice and still we do not have a tv that works. We purchase this tv to play manufacturer dvd's and without the remote we cannot select what videos to play or change channels if we want to watch tv. Pretty much we purchased a useless tv/dvd combo.
