During that time I found two 24" models from Toshiba. What I wanted to know was what the differences were between the two. I noticed that this model wasn't as common as the Toshiba 24SLV411U 24-Inch 1080p LED-LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player, Black which have had many reviews. After some in depth research I found out some of the differences between this model and the other more common one. Keep in mind this is a LCD TV/DVD combo with an LED backlight.One of the features "missing" from this model is the yellow composite video jack on the back which personally I don't have a need for. Read more 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful  Good Picture/Price-A Few Small Problems With Features, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Toshiba 24V4210U 24-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED DVD Combo (Black) (Electronics) Overall the product is decent, but the channel return button doesn't work if "Any" menu bar is still up on the screen, like the volume bar, info bar, etc. It will sit frozen until the volume bar disappears before you can switch back to the previous channel. Also, when switching channels with the channel button, the channel you are on will stay for 3-5 seconds before changing to your chosen channel. When you turn on the tv, it is slow and the dvd player turns on and makes the whining/running sound while the tv turns on slowly, which I've never experienced with any of the other manufacturers before, so I'm not sure if this is a flaw or just the way this tv operates. Sound is pretty good, not Samsung of course, but way better than Walmart's Proscan brand or Insignia Brand through BestBuy.NO Channel ADD/Delete---A must for me, as I don't like the favorites lists. The guests push all the remote control buttons on directv remote, then complain "the tv don't work". Have had no such problems with this tv yet. Picture is good and my only complaint would be the time to turn on is a bit longer than the old cathode tube tv this replaced, a few seconds till picture appears, no big deal. The tv is a very good value and will be purchasing a couple more very soon. |
